Live from, um, what is this? Central Park.
The funniest thing happened to me when I was on my way to meet my friend Mel for a nice, springtime stroll through Central Park. Actually, now that I think about it, I can't exactly say it's the funniest thing — it's more like "the most disturbing thing". Anyway, here it goes. Live from Central Park. (NOTE: Oh yeah, by the way, this post should also be known as "A Few Words on Puberty in New York City.")

Whether we like it or not, kids are growing up much faster these days. I wonder what his mother would have said if she knew her baby boy was talking to women like that. Then again, he's probably an angel in her eyes.
BTW, DO you have suckable breasts? LOL Just kidding.

disgusting but hilarious happy easter!

Maybe he was just hungry? I mean, if there is a nine-year old out there doing it, then surely there must be someone who's 13 and doing it...
Happy Easter!

OMG!!! I think I would have slapped the little shit! (and then of course been arrested for assault.

How dare you provoke a 13 year old, you're not even a teacher? LOL.

missbhavens: That's hilarious!!! I should have pulled a similar move; I was just so shocked and dumbstruck that I just *looked* at him.
Organized Noise: You're right, kids *are* growing up faster these days. Still, that doesn't give any of them the right to act like they don't have any home training; I'd like to think that his momma raised him better than that. People, man. Oh and, by the way, ask me if I have suckable breasts again and I'll rip them both off and beat you with them. :-)
Dear Lovey Heart: Yeah, it was an odd mixture of disgusting / hilarious. After it happened, I was so disgusted. But, seconds later, I couldn't help but laugh about the absurdity of it all.
MamaChristy: That's really gross. :(
ET: I didn't slap him; I didn't even respond or say anything. I was just so SHOCKED.
AWE: If by provoke you mean breathe, guilt as charged. ;) And, by the way, speaking of teachers ... I have a friend in misery (Missouri ... ha, ha ... little Midwestern humor there! Get it? Misery. Missouri. I love the Midwest.) --- So I have a friend in Missouri who teaches junior high. One of her really big kids came on to her when she was alone after school. She slapped him. Hard. Across the face. Then she pointed a finger at him and said, "try to do that again and there will be more where that came from. And, if you tell anyone that I slapped you, I'll beat the shit out of you." I don't agree with teachers slapping children. But, it *is* worth mentioning that he never touched nor tried to intimidate her again.
Anhoni Patel: Audioblogging is surprisingly easy. Go to the website. Set up an account. Call 415-856-0205 from your cell phone. Record your message. Press pound. Voila! The system automatically converts the message to an mp3 and posts it to your blog. It doesn't always work, so you might have to call back and try again.

Thanks! I just tried it - let's see if it actually works!
